Two gorgeous Victorian glass and white metal bud vases or epergne's. Likely French in origin.

These are stunning, I can't find out who made them but they certainly are both of the same glass house & factory.

I've seen another of the star base elsewhere, and it was plated, so I think these both are or were silver plated.

Shorter vase with star shaped base:

Total height 235mm

Base height 111mm

Base width 93mm

Trumpet vase Height 156mm

Trumpet vase top Width 82mm varying.

No damage, base is numbered and stamped but I can't properly read the makers stamp. It's a flag with what looks to be a W & E in it. The glass trumpet vase is in absolute 100% perfect condition. I believe this one to be of a lower production number as the glass vase shows the handmade craftsmanship more than the other and has higher uranium dioxide and gold content also (gold turns red in glass and uranium dioxide green). This can be seen comparing the shapes & colours.

Taller vase with child supporting vase:

Total height 267mm

Base height 128mm

Base width 70mm

Trumpet vase height 160mm

Trumpet vase top width 82mm varying.

No damage atall to any part. No makers name or number visible. Again the glass is in 100% perfect condition. I believe this to be a more mass produced model as the glass trumpet vase is very uniform, signifying it would of been blown on a production line.

Both glow wonderfully under uv light.

Any questions please ask. More pictures avaliable. These are hard to photograph lit under uv, they have a lovely deep green glow the camera doesn't quite show.

Will be packed with love and care using some new and recycled materials.
