This auction is for a nice pair of new old stock tested vintage RCA branded Amperex & Siemens made 6AQ8/ECC85 series vacuum tubes. These were purchased from a retired industrial engineer from South New Jersey. This is a nice clean honest pair of RCA branded 6AQ8's with sturdy gray plates, halo getters. One is an Amperex made tube with date codes of tU5 and Herleen delta mark 4J2 and one is a Siemens made tube with date codes of tU8 and Siemens asterisk mark 9D, (see pics). These tested strong on a newly refurbished and calibrated Precision Tube Master 10-12 at 82/83 (very closely balanced) and 87/87 (balanced) where 54 is minimum. The boxes are original to both tubes and are in very good condition. I will be listing many other tubes over the next few months.
