1963 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE CONVERTIBLE

 TRUE DEALER PROMO COASTER

AMT 1/25 SCALE

FINISHED IN METALLIC BLUE

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:  See below.

RATING: I'd rate this VG+.  While it does have issues it's waiting for the rebuilder....Personally I think it's worth salvaging. Or, you could just display it as-is.
ISSUES:  1)Body:  I believe this body was repainted at some point. For one thing, the colour is off. Check out the photos compared to the chassis and interior. For another thing, the paint doesn't have gloss. Like it was painted with basecoat but no clear (of course the originals would have been single stage lacquer). Third, the entire underside has been painted.  And then there's the telltale sign that the interior has been removed as no "donuts" remain.
2) The car has windshield header and pillar post issues as well. It was separated at the top of the L/H header at the a-pillar.  Then the R/H a pillar was cracked/broken just above the body. Interestingly enough the L/H vent post is fine, but the R/H vent post is missing.
FINISH:
GLASS:  Light crack upper drivers side corner. about 1/2" long.
CHROME:  Front and rear bumpers/grille replated.
WHEELS:  Replated as well.
FRICTION:  N/A as it's a dealer coaster.

A little about me: I'm not a dealer in car models. I am a collector who has been doing so for over 60 years.  I like to try and describe my listings with a critical eye as if I'm buying them for myself.  .  So check back often to see what I will be listing. I anticipate listing between 10 and 20 cars a week.

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS. PLEASE READ SO THAT THERE ARE NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS!  We all want to have a happy experience buying collectibles, right?

Also, the photos in the listing, which are of the actual car you'll receive, are a part of the descriptives.  If you have any questions, concerns, doubts, please ask them before you bid or commit to buy. That's your responsibility as a buyer.   I do not take returns, particularly for "buyer's remorse".  That said,  even though I pride myself on accurate descriptions, I am, after all, human.  If I missed something, and you feel I didn't represent the model correctly, then reach out to me and I'll do my best within reason to address the issue.  After all, I want you to be happy with what you're spending your hard earned money on.   My feeback from the last 22 years speaks for itself.

2) PACKING AND SHIPPING:  I take proper care to see that your purchase is packed properly.  I ship quickly.  If a model arrives to you and it's broken or damaged in any way, that will be due to mishandling by the USPS.  Not for being improperly packed. eBay covers insurance up to $100;  anything over that I cover additional insurance on the model.  If you receive a damaged model, please do not atte speaks for itself. mpt to send it back to me.  Simply file a claim with the USPS. It's all done online now and it's faster for you to get reimbursed that way.

3) PAYMENT:  On Auction listings,  I expect payment in full within 48 hours of auction end.  Please pay promptly.

4) COMBINED SHIPPING:  Yes, I of course will combine shipping.  If you win multiple models,  just put them in a cart and "REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER".  Then I'll respond with a combined shipping cost.
