Handsome fold-out 1968 Texaco road map of Oklahoma, printed more than 48 years ago.

  • The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.

  • On the reverse side there's a transcontinental driving map of the United States, along with inset plans of Bartlesville, Enid, Ardmore, Muskogee, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City.

  • The map was distributed by Texaco in 1968 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 8-PP, and little "T" symbols locate Texaco gas stations on major highways.

  • There's a Howard Johnson's ad on the back cover, with addresses of two Howard Johnson's locations, in Norman and Oklahoma City.

  • Condition:  This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
