For your consideration is a Large Mid Century Curtis Jere signed Original Brass & Copper Leaf Wall Sculpture

This original C. Jere brutalist style sculpture is designed with torch cut Copper and Brass leaves that have burned and

braised edges.   Each leaf is soldered on to a branch.  There are a few strong loops soldered on the back which allows 

this large sculpture to hang several different ways.

This Jere' original measures large at approx. 48" long and 30" wide.  It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition.

I find no noticeable damage.   It is signed on the back on one of the lower leaves.  This is a stunning piece of artwork I

believe to be from about 1975.  It is nicer than the pictures reveal.  If you look close at the pictures you will see that 

I took them with different lighting which resulted in the leaves taking on different colors. When you view this sculpture

on the wall the leaves begin to look very real, look at pic.#5 and #8.  This particular C. Jere sculpture is crafted with 

many more leaves then most others that are similar.  The leaves on this sculpture are a bit more flexible and can be 

curled or left flat.  This is a fabulous Wall Sculpture that would enhance any home with any style decor.

 This leaf sculpture is beautiful and looks fabulous anywhere it is displayed.  The leaves change color depending

on the amount of surrounding light.  They begin to look very real.  This sculpture is larger than it appears.

This sculpture will be packed professionally for shipping since I do not want to bend the branches or squish the leaves. 

** Curtis Jere or C. Jere works were made by Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels.  Curtis Jere is a compound pen name

of the two artists. Their works were marketed by the corporation Artisan House. The company was founded in 1963

by Fels and his brother-inlaw Curtis (Kurt) Freiler. Well known for their large scale decorative metal artwork during

the 1960's & 1970's. Jerry Fels died in 2008 and Curtis Freiler died in 2013 at the age of 103 yrs.
