A fabulous original 1950s skirt by Debenham & Freebody of Wigmore Street London.  Great for Rock n Roll dancing full skirt which twirls when you dance - great for jive or Rockabilly.
Debenham and Freebody was the forerunner to Debenhams and opened at Wigmore Street in 1851.  One of the leading department store in England and across the world for many years, sadly now closed down.
The skirt is black seersucker fabric in a silk blend fabric - with woven zigzag bands of pink and blue silk.  It fastens at the back with a metal zipper.  The under skirt is a black lace nylon petticoat which helps to add to the full shape of the skirt.
Waist size 28 inches - length from waistband to hem 29 inches.
No damage.
