Up for auction is a used professional King Super 20 "Silver Sonic" tenor saxophone with a gold inlay on the sterling silver bell. The pads and corks are in fair to good condition. The pads are somewhat sticky and need to be cleaned and adjusted for good playing condition or replaced for optimal performance. There are no major body/bow dents present and several minor dents are pictured. The sterling silver neck has signs of prior solder work and a small patch near the cork end, minor pull down and several visible dents. This tenor sax has scratches throughout from normal use and the lacquer wear is minimal with approximately 85% of the lacquer intact(may not be original). The serial number is in the 477,xxx range which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1972. Included is a gently used SKB tenor sax case(latches function as intended, interior is intact and no strong odors are present) and a body end plug. No mouthpiece is included. With some TLC this has the potential to be a great playing tenor saxophone! This is being sold in "as-is" condition and the pictures provided are considered as part of the description.
