VINTEN VISION 10 TRIPOD SET

The Vision 10 head pan and tilt damper work. No hitches, no worn threads. Locks extremely well.

Vinten 2-stage Tripod legs operates smooth. Legs drop with gravity.

VINTEN VISION 12 SD + CARTONI LEGS

The Vision 12 SD head tilt and drag knobs seem to barely have any dampening effect compared to the Vision 10. My unprofessional opinion is the drag capsules need replacement. The bubble leveler is dry and inoperable. The tiedown has two missing lugs but otherwise screws fine. No hitches, no worn threads. Locks well.

Cartoni Tripod legs are beaten up but do work. One leg does not fall with gravity and has to be assisted half way down. They are outfitted with new OEM cartoni ball joint feel, which work very well. The spreader is tough to open and close due to mechanical pinching. Some pins have been DIY fixed.

These heads and sticks are 20 years old. So they are being SOLD AS-IS, as I cannot guarantee they operate as intended when first made 20 years ago.
