I honestly think a photograph speaks a thousand words so I won't attempt to describe the condition in detail, but ask you to examine the photos, I have taken plenty that cover most, if not all, aspects. Seller’s comments: These particular versions of the Royal Natural History are a slimmer version of the more usual 6 volume set (of which I also have 3 sets, see my other items) and measure approx 260mm x 180mm. Try as I might, I cannot fathom the classification of these books regarding volume and section, so am showing you the contents pages in each case so you can see exactly what is covered by each book. I have 8 in total, but I think there are 18 in a complete set? Even Mick Burgess's excellent book on Warne's back catalogue is no real help, it suggests 12 in total but doesn't list them chronologically, or with an accurate vol/section guide.
