Little Leather Library Book - Shakespeare: "King Lear" - 1920's - Green Cover / Redcroft Edition - Format: 3"x4".

You're looking at "King Lear" by Shakespeare. 182 pages. Book is all in all in decent condition. Pages are still attafched to the binding but might be coming loose a bit - use caution. Leatherette cover has a bit of wear on back and front. I see no flaws when flipping through the pages, except the very last (blank) has a part torn off.

Please note that I cannot guarantee that each and every page is in good condition, nor that all are there, but I can vouch for that the vast majority of the Little Leather Library books I have are in very good condition so I don't expect to find much of flaws.

Background:
The Little Leather Library was a series of books published by the Little Leather Library Corporation from 1916-1923. They were published as a way for people in wartime and Depression era America to purchase and own works of classic literature at an affordable price in a small format that would not require a lot of space to build a collection. Several different series were published using various cover formats and titles. The series containing the book in this listing was known as the Redcroft edition and was published from 1920-1923.
