Harcover bound in black cloth. Titles labels to front board and spine. Tear to spine label, though title is unaffected. Exterior is in quite good condition, light bumping to headcaps. Minimal rubbing to corners, else boards are smooth and clean, spine straight, binding firm.

Interior is clean. No tears, wrinkles, or foxing present. Signature "Mary" to front endpaper. Deckled pages to bottom edge and fore edge of textblock. Mild soiling to top edge. 

Overall a very nice copy. First edition, stated seventh printing November 1929.
