Two original matt cover Ladybirds from the Fables & Legends series 740:

'FAMOUS LEGENDS BOOK 1' & 'FAMOUS LEGENDS BOOK 2' (SEE SCANS)

Hard to find the original  matt copies in this condition - both books are in very good condition throughout, no scribbles or inscriptions, tightly bound, clean pages, hardly a blemish to them,just a little rubbing to spine edge in places on book 2 along with some sunning to spines, mostly on book 1 (see scans). 

Both have numerous superb illustrations by Robert Ayton and Book 2 is a first edition, the last named title on series list on rear
