Vintage Ray-Ban W1910 Diamond Hard sunglasses are distinctive because of their unique lens shape and of course the innovative Bausch & Lomb Diamond Hard lenses that are practically impossible to scratch. The gold mirror finish gives these Diamond Hard mirrored lenses a look like no other in the world, a proprietary Bausch & Lomb scratch protection system that creates a lens surface of amorphous diamond that is ten times more resistant to scratching than ordinary glass. This surface also sheds water, reducing water spotting and making the lens easier to clean. The diamond surface is permanently bonded to the lens via an ion beam process, originally developed by the NASA. The Diamond Hard lenses go perfectly with the 24k gold plated unisex Ray-Ban W1910 Arista frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple. The uniquely shaped hexagonal lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.5" at the widest points, and the right lens is laser etched Ray-Ban along with the diamond symbol for the Diamond Hard line and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA and one of the ear pads is impressed W1910 XXAS.
