I purchased this watch in 1973 while on board ship will in the Navy before I got out.  I wore it continually after that till it just stopped running one day.  The band is a replacement per the pictures.  It has been in a drawer since it stopped working in the 90's, so it may only be a minor thing to someone who likes to tinker or it can be displayed or used for parts.  It has not been abused in any manner if anything just the opposite.  I am downsizing at my house at this stage of my life and thought this watch would be of value to the right person based on prices I see on ebay for the same watch.

I want to add additional information about the watch due to follow up questions since I listed it.  To my knowledge, I have taken it to a jeweler once to have it cleaned - no record of the repair kept, memory only.  I wore this watch daily for over 20 years and loved it.  It kept perfect time and all features worked great.  As time and my age passed, I was ready for a change due to its weight and size.  I was also a little concerned by the attention it drew and that someone may want to take it from me.  So, when it stopped working one day, I just retired it without having it checked, and bought another Seiko.  Whoever obtains it may have a diamond or a chunk of coal after opening it and having it looked at.
