I have here for sale a book entitled ON TYPE FACES Examples of the use of Type for the Printing of Books: With an Introductory Essay & Notes by STANLEY MORISON published jointly by The Medici Society, London, and The Fleuron, London, in 1923.  First edition.  Limited Edition, copy No 141 of 750 printed for sale in the British Empire and the United States of America, the preliminary pages and the Introduction being in the 14 point Riccardi fount.  The Contents include sections on the Venetian School; Old Face School; and Titling Letter.  There are numerous examples of different type faces throughout.

Marbled paper covered boards with a mauve title label with black lettering on the front board and gilt lettering on the spine, protected by an unclipped dust jacket.  Ex-library copy with heavy browning and staining to the dust jacket with tears along the edges.  Boards are in good condition.  Browning to endpapers with library stamps and labels.  Rough cut page edges.  All pages are tight and the book is in very good condition.  xii, 103 pages.  32.5 x 25.5 cm.
