This is a beautiful and eclectic collection of almost exclusively antique and vintage costume jewelry, including necklaces, brooches, bracelets, cameos, charms, clips, pins, dress clips, rings, earrings (screw back, clips and pierced), cuff links and more.

In this lot there are quite a few signed pieces, by names such as Trifari Crown (gorgeous gold-tone necklace on right and middle front tray) and Trifari (gold-tone bracelet on right tray with tag, and the large braided thick gold-tone necklace on back half of left tray), Lea Stein Paris (the poodle brooch with red accents on middle tray), Coro (gold-tone, pink and blue stone crown brooch on far left tray in front), La-Rel (gorgeous rhinestone necklace on right front tray), Coventry (eg the owl brooch with red rhinestone eyes on middle tray, or the large gold-tone and rhinestone flower brooch on back left tray), Goldette (gorgeous gold-tone and purple stone large statement dangling necklace on front right tray), Sorrelli (the beautiful dangling stone earrings on far left side of left tray in very back, or the multi-coloured stone ring on right tray, near middle), Swarovski, Ultracraft, Murano Italy (glass bead necklace on bracelet rack), Monet, Avon and more.

There are also quite a few unsigned pieces or pieces signed with just country of make, or with illegible or unknown markings, copyrights etc.

The vast majority of these pieces have come from the very large back storeroom collection of one of Boston’s former longest standing antique and vintage jewelry stores, but before that, origins absolutely unknown. He purchased from numerous countries and countless people voraciously, for more than 40 years, and his passion and knowledge were unprecedented. The same does not apply to me, although he was an excellent teacher, and I the lucky pupil.

I sell many lots of this size, of pieces that range fairly widely in age and condition. My fantastic regular buyers are often sellers themselves. The vast majority of this jewelry is absolutely wearable, and there are certainly some stunning pieces, but condition will generally range from the pristine to nice to nearly poor or better suited for craft, with tarnishing present and occasional stones loose or even missing. No overtly damaged pieces will be included unless too amazing to pass up. Usually any piece that might require some help will be easy to repair (eg clasp replacement), but again, this isn’t a common theme. Pictures speak volumes, and genuinely reflect this lot as best they can. So many beautiful pieces, genuinely, with such varied origins, histories and stories.

All pieces have been stored nicely and will come individually bagged and bubble wrapped carefully, and via usps flat rate medium shipping box. I will happily accommodate combined shipping as much as possible.
