This amplifier has been fully serviced/upgraded/modified by one of the best (if not the best) electronic technicians around. Fully recapped, thoroughly cleaned, and restored to like-new condition. Ready for years of additional use.
All power supply mosfets upgraded, outputs, resistors, ballast resistors, and LTP transistors. Serviced rail switching circuit on slave board. Upgraded opamp on Master board, serviced + & - 15v on both boards. Upgraded 33v zener diodes on slave board. Replaced VAS transistors on the slave board.
100% electrolytic capacitor replacement. Modified boards to accommodate modern 80v rail capacitors.
Upgraded 4ga power and ground cables. New remote line. New 14ga internal speaker leads. New 5-way binding posts, new RCA connectors
The boards were cleaned extensively multiple times. The heatsink was cleaned and prepped for a new Kapton insulator, and a fresh thermal compound was applied to all clamped semiconductors. Clamping bars were also cleaned and painted.
