Large Rustic Antique French Farmhouse Linen Sheet. Monogram 228 cm x 290cm.Unused 

This lovely heavy linen sheet was commissioned as one of a pair, it has stayed in the armoire since collection, never used. It dates from c1900, has a large, 17cm x 17cm, monogram and a deep top hem. The top hem is emphasised with fine ladder-work.The monogram is a little difficult to decipher, so will lend itself to various applications. It is G.O. or similar. The edges of top hems are oversewn; this is a sign of quality. Long sheets like this make fantastic curtains. They can also be used for upholstery; the weave is tight and very hardwearing. I have two of these, I am listing separately. There may be mild storage marks which will wash out. This has had one wash to remove finishing size, it is pale ecru but will wash to bright white.
