1.) Star Wars issue #68.  Very-Fine minus condition. Glossy 1-owner book!  Rarer, NEWS STAND EDITION. High-grade condition. Flat, tight book to the touch. Looks, feels and even smells like new, with the exception of a few faint millimeter spine ticks by the top staple in the blue corner box which were there when I bought this book. Please see photos to judge the condition for yourself. Off white pages.
Complete book with no missing pages, no cut outs and no ink or pencil writing anywhere. This comic book has been in a plastic comic book bag and board stored in a comic book long box for 41 years since the day it was bought new in 1982 right off of the comic book rack at a Stop & Go convenience store in Marietta, GA which was in front of Parkaire roller skating rink which was then soon to burn to the ground in a suspicious fire in 1983. This book is worthy of being professionally graded. Original, 1st print.

The story is titled:

"The Search Begins" written by David Michelinie with artwork by Gene Day with finishes by Tom Palmer.

From Marvel.com/Marvel Unlimited is this story synopsis:  "The search for Han Solo begins here! Can Luke and the others stop Boba Fett and get their captured friend back?"

KEY!

Boba Fett briefly appears in a flashback

First mention of the Mandalorians

1st appearance of Fenn Shysa, a Mandalorian

1st full appearance of Dengar, a bounty hunter

⚠ Misconception: CGC labels this issue as the origin of Boba Fett but the character featured in the book is a Mandalorian named Fenn Shysa

(Originally on comic book shop shelves on Tuesday, November 16th, 1982 - later on comic book spinner racks and news stands - with a February, 1983 cover date)

Very-Fine minus High-Grade condition!

I'm not a comic book dealer, so I don't professionally grade comics. The golden rule is how I operate.  I'm a collector who wants to sell these for funds to buy a particular issue of The Fantastic Four.  Payment is kindly requested within 2 days of the close of the auction or the runner-up bidder will receive a "second chance offer" (or the item will be relisted).  I always ship the NEXT DAY payment is made by a buyer unless the sale ends on a Saturday or the day before a Holiday when the post office is closed in which case I will ship your item right away once the post office re-opens.

Thanks for looking & best of luck! - "The Nostalgic Podblast" show & eBay shop.

I also am the unofficial creator of the "Madcap" character in Marvel comics and I was the original owner of the "Angry Girlfriend Variant" of Amazing Spider-Man issue #14 from 1964 which my former friend vandalized with magic marker in 1990.

Thanks for looking and good luck to all bidders/fellow collectors/investors!  Again, if you want additional photos, just ask!
