Summicron M 50mm Dual-Range in chrome finish.
Optics: Multi-coated lens with no separation, scratches, fogging, fungus/mold, and very little haze. A couple of small cleaning marks on rear element. Attachment ocular near focus lenses are excellent with no issues to mention. Plastic tab on rear side of ocular attachment is broken, no ill affect, but want to make sure you didn't overlook it.
Focus: Distance scale in feet. Focus is smooth, no binding or issues. Standard focus range is 3.4' (1m) to infinity, and near focus range is 33" to 20".
Aperture: Blades move freely, and are free from surface oil. Aperture ring moves freely, with detents on full stop markings.
Appearance: Please review pictures from confirmation. There are numerous chrome finish marks from use, the paint work looks nice. No signs of spanner marks, and the screws look good.
The aperture index mark and the focus mark don't line up correctly, this is common for this version lens with removable lens head for bellows, etc. It does not have any affect on images.
This is a Summicron lens that will produce beautiful images, this lens design has earned a reputation with very pleasing images.
