This issue of Life magazine captured several momentous events around the world as World War II continued to rage, from the situation in France to the coup in Argentina, as well as domestic issues such as the drug trade. However, it's best known for the cover article profiling female pilots, a rarity at that time. Like all other vintage Life issues, plenty of gorgeous photos and advertisements can be found. 

There are two copies available, and ss detailed in the Condition Description, each is in good condition for its age but has specific issues. Please specify if you'd like the top copy (with worse covers but better pages) or the bottom copy (with better covers but worse pages) when making a purchase.

Note that only the actual USPS Media Mail shipping charge is being applied based on the weight. USPS has unfortunately increased its rates once again, and details can be found here on their site: https://www.usps.com/ship/mail-shipping-services.htm#mediamail. In some cases I may upgrade to USPS Ground Advantage at no extra cost to the buyer for heavier media purchases, or purchase insurance in the sale amount for more valuable items, again at no extra cost to the buyer.

Pricing Most items I sell are set to Buy It Now, but priced reasonably based on the market and sometimes still open to negotiation. Please do not send overly low offers, as I often list my items similar to or lower than others. In most cases I simply will not respond.
Shipping Every item is weighed beforehand and entered into eBay's automatic shipping calculator, which generates the shipping quote based on the provider, your location, the weight and (when applicable for larger items due to volumetric weight) the box size. All carriers continue to increase rates on a steady basis; this is outside the control of eBay sellers.

In general I ship the same day or next day when purchases are made, and they're all assigned valid tracking numbers through eBay's system. All items are packaged carefully with sufficient protection to ensure they reach you safely. Any items that exceed $100 in value, with a few exceptions, will be covered by additional insurance in the full sale amount at no cost to the buyer.
Returns Returns are accepted within 30 days following the date of purchase. In cases in which an item does not match the description or does not work as stated, a full refund will be issued, including the original and return shipping costs. However, in cases in which you wish to return an item for other reasons, or if an item was listed "as is" in the description, note that only the purchase cost will be refunded. The original shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.
