"Please note that I use real Porcelain Paint Pens (not sharpies!) which are left to air dry for 24hrs before I oven bake them to seal the paint onto the ceramic.  Although the paint manufacturer claims that once bake sealed these paints become dishwasher proof I would still recommend that you wash gently with luke warm water only to preserve the life of the design."
