Router guide jig for Brass Butterfly / Bowtie inlay for wood working.

This jig cuts the hole for our brass bow ties to fit into & will also let you cut your own wooden bow ties.

BRASS BOW TIES For use with 6mm router bit and 30mm guide bush. Ensure clamps are used to hold jig in place when cutting. I’d recommend making a practice run before making a cut out in your finished piece. Cut your hole slightly deeper than the bow tie and use and epoxy glue to hold your bow tie in place. 

You can add leaves to the jig if needed or screw holes if you need to mount bow ties in the middle of a larger piece of timber.

MAKE YOUR OWN BOW TIES - using an 18mm guide bush and a 6mm straight flute router bit you can cut your own bow ties to fit into the hole cut using a 30mm guide bush (as above)
