This is the SE Upgrade Kit from Henley Audio, which is an affordable motor upgrade package for a variety of selected turntables, designed for Pro-Ject owners looking to improve their existing system. This is a simple but intuitive kit, developed specially by Henley Audio, to improve motor isolation to the modern standard employed by the latest Pro-Ject turntables.

The package includes:
  • 2 Rubber Gromits and Screws
  • Rounded Drive Belt
  • Alternative Pulley

The rubber grommets in this kit are designed to sit underneath the motor, and are secured in place by the supplied screws (using the existing holes in the plinth for the motor transit screws). By tuning the pressure on the grommets with the screws, the result is a dramatic reduction in unwanted vibrations from the motor, causing less resonance in the overall sound performance.

The pulley is fitted to the motor by removing the existing pully (there may be a small screw holding the existing pulley in place - this needs to be removed), and fixing the new unit in the same position. The rounded belt is placed into position in the same way as the original drive belt. These simple steps help reduce the transfer of any remaining resonances to the record surface.

NB: This upgrade is incompatible with players used primarily for 78rpm records. The pulley used for 78rpm records is designed for use with a flat belt.

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays). Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

We endeavour to ensure that 100% of our customers are completely satisfied and receive an excellent shopping experience; if for whatever reason you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us before opening any case(s).

  • We will always aim to do the best to resolve any issues
  • We will only pay the return delivery costs if the item was delivered wrong or it is faulty out of the box.
  • Any valid purchase made from us that carries a warranty, is ONLY valid in the UK. Therefore, if you have any problem that is covered by your warranty, you will have to return the item to us in the UK, at your cost.

For Returns:

  • The returns process must be started within 30 days of your initial order.
  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
