***********FOR PARTS/REPAIR - Although the Bulova 11ALC manual wind movement runs briefly when winding tension is placed on the crown, as clearly seen in picture 13 the crown/stem separates when trying to set the time. While it can be pushed back in it does not wind. Additionally, as seen in picture 17 a movement screw is loose. This screw will be included in a separate plastic bag. At a minimum a complete overhaul is required.***********

This vintage 1966 Bulova has a glossy black "T SWISS T" signed dial that under the heavily scratched and damaged crystal appears to be in near pristine condition.  The original lume on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a faint glow on the hands only after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully.  The midsize all stainless steel case shows wear and pitting.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "BULOVA   STAINLESS STEEL CASE   SHOCK RESISTANT   1940818   M6   ANTI-MAGNETIC   WATERPROOF."  The crystal needs to be replaced.

The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "BULOVA WATCH Co" stamped 11ALC manual wind movement runs briefly when winding tension is placed on the signed, non-screwdown crownAs clearly seen in picture 13 the crown/stem separates when trying to set the time.  While it can be pushed back in it does not wind.  Additionally, as seen in picture 17 a movement screw is loose.  This screw will be included in a separate plastic bag.  At a minimum a complete overhaul is required.

This watch measures approximately 32 mm excluding the crown, approximately 34 mm including the crown and approximately 17.75 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case is approximately 5 mm.  Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 7.5 mm.

Given that the crown/stem separates and a movement screw is loose at a minimum a complete overhaul is required.  As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  For this watch that time is now.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.

Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given.  And please study the 19 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.

Expedited and insured shipping will be provided.  Thanks for looking!
