Easton Press books are excellent, very high quality, made using many old-fashioned techniques by which books used to be made hundreds of years ago. 

Easton Press books are made with the finest quality materials. They are bound with genuine leather, with titles and artwork in gold, they make gilded edges, they use acid-free archival quality paper that will last dozens of years and will still look new. They are sewn, not glued. They provide high quality text, easy to read font, good wide margins, beautiful illustrations, sometimes specially ordered for each edition, sewn-in silk page dividers. Each book is like a work or art and is a pleasure to hold in your hands. Holding this book, looking at it, touching it, opening the pages is an experience only a true book lover will appreciate. 

This book was pubished in 2001. It deals with and explains various scientific idea and phenomena. from simple things like measurement units to the human body, astronomy, etc. Lots of interesting information, highly recommended.It was never used, just displayed. Shrink wrap was removed, which is why I listed it as "like new" but it's actually brand new. Comes with exlibris, which is not attached.
