Synopsis:

The story begins at the end of a grand adventure. Decades later, Frieren returns to find that her friends have aged significantly or passed away. Struck by the passage of time and her own emotional detachment, she decides to embark on a journey to understand human emotions and the fleeting nature of life.

Along her journey, Frieren encounters new companions, including a young mage apprentice named Fern and a warrior named Stark. Together, they explore the world, fulfilling Himmel’s old wish of understanding it better and seeking out the remnants of the past adventures.
