In great shape overall! Original publisher cloth binding shows light wear as pictured, including rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, toning to the spine, general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and rubbing and soiling to the page edges. Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume! Tight and square! The gilt title lettering on the spine displays nicely from the shelf.
Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. Both boards and all page groupings remain attached to the binding. Former owner’s signatures visible on the front free fly page. Otherwise clean with no bookplates, inscriptions, or library markings to note.
The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. There is typical age-related toning to the pages, as well as some light foxing and soiling scattered throughout, and some general light edge wear and corner creasing, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout!
