Why I'm selling my Brooks Saddle?
This B17 ‘Softened’ saddle was supplied new by Brooks (without their standard guarantee) in exchange for a B17 I sent them for a repair on the rear badge, which they could not do for some reason?
I used some of their proof hide leather dressing (5g?) to soften and proof the leather on both sides and fitted the saddle on my bike for about two weeks, but always worried about it being stolen! (as I live in a City) so hence the reluctant sale, this is why the saddle is being sold in 'As New' condition.
The cardboard box (Brooks supplied) is not for the B17 model. A Brooks branded polythene bag was included.
Why do I think the saddle is a Brooks Factory Second?
