  Description and Specifics

Late Pentax LX 35mm Film Camera + FA-1 Finder + 50mm A f1.7 Lens + Grip + Extras

This is a late model Pentax LX camera (note the shutter-lock switch features the new design) and it is in Average to Good condition - there are marks/wear to the paint work on the body in places (no dings to the body), some specific wear from tripod attaching on the bottom and some shallow indentations to the finder, but nothing abusive to indicate heavy usage. The inside of the camera is very clean and all seals are good still. The inside of the finder and its screen are also very clean - just the odd bit of dust. Mirror has a couple of light wiping marks and a bit of grime, but no impact on its functioning. The lens is Very Good, with just a little internal dust from age as can be expected and comes with Pentax front cap. 

Comes with genuine Pentax slim nylon strap and lugs to attach it to the LX camera posts, one of our custom designed and 3D printed Pentax LX grips (with instructions and hex key), A Pentax Takumar 49mm screw in hood which is Average, shows wear, but is fully functional, a Kood 49mm yellow filter in Good condition (a great leave on the camera filter for B/W) and a fresh roll of Ilford HP5 to get you started.

It winds and fires on all speeds (auto and manual), meter works fine and indicates properly in the viewfinder (Please note the auto speeds are correct once film is loaded as the camera meters from the film surface and not from the black pressure plate). There is no delay when firing and no 'sticky mirror' syndrome which are common on LX's. Overall a nice and very usable example of a legendary Pentax top of the range manual focus film camera

MINT - The item is almost unused. Only the closest inspections will reveal slight wear. Glass perfect.
EXCELLENT - The item has very little signs of use, but may have slight wear on finish. Glass almost perfect.
VERY GOOD - The item may show some moderate signs of wear with the possibility of small dings or blemishes. Glass may have very minor signs of use
GOOD - The item shows signs of use, minor marks/scratches and blemishes. Glass may have slight blemishes or internal dust but will not affect picture quality.
AVERAGE - The item has been well used and will have significant blemishes/marks. Glass may have marks or blemishes which could affect picture quality.
POOR - Equipment is very well used and rough, with excessive finish loss and marks. Glass may have marks, blemishes or issues which will affect picture quality.
SPARES OR REPAIRS - Equipment may or may not work, may have unknown or not described additional faults and is classed 'As Is' with no returns.

UK Postage - Items are usually sent either Royal Mail 'Tracked 48' or 'Special Delivery' depending on size, weight and insurance value.


Worldwide Postage - Items are usually sent either Royal Mail  'International Tracked & Signed For' or UPS depending on size, weight and insurance value.

All items will be shipped within 3 working days. Shipping will be combined for multiple items, but please contact us for a combined shipping price if that is your intention as prices may still vary depending on the combined weight and insurance.

Note: In an effort to save on environmental waste we recycle packaging materials and use paper based biodegradable tapes where possible, but all items will be safely packaged and secure.
  Payment

All payments are managed by eBay. Please pay within 48 hours of completion of the auction. Non-payment after 3 days without contact will result in cancelation of the sale.

  Customer Returns Policy

Unless an item is classed as 'Spares or Repairs', items purchased within the UK can be returned within 14 days after the buyer receives it and must be returned in the exact same condition as when sent (buyer to pay for the return shipping fee unless the return is for an item deemed to be 'not as described' or faulty). Please contact us first to discuss any issues before returning items.
