This is a Lomax Oil Guard Kerosene Oil lamp with the patent dates impressed in the base of Sep. 20, 1870.
This lamp is the smaller table stand lamp of the many sizes that it was produced.
This one measures 6” to the top of the collar and 14 3/4" to the top of the chimney.
The brass burner is an Eldorado No. 1 by W.B.G. Co.
It has everything you would expect from a lamp of this age with straw marks and air bubbles in the glass.
