The books are in very good condition, especially considering their age.  There is some very mild wear to the cover just due to basic use or shelf wear.  See all pictures for more details about condition.  

I looked through the books.  I saw no underlining, highlighting, or markings of any kind in 4 of the 5 books.  The book "The Spirit..." had some very mild underlining in pencil in one section (It affects approximately 10 pages.  The rest of the book appears to be mark free.).
