1905 1st edition, with the small round cover illustration, of The Pie and the Patty-Pan by Beatrix Potter - published by Frederick Warne & Co.

The book is in reasonable and complete condition with a fair bit of wear, staining and rubbing to the cover boards. The spine is intact though heavilly rubbed at the top and bottom.

 Internally the frontispiece illustration is completely detached and the first section of 4 pages  is coming loose from the binding. There are foxing and similar marks on many of the pages and I suspect that the rear endpaper on the board is missing as what's there doesn't seem to match the facing page (see last photo).
