Melbourne, Thomas C Lothian, 1909.  A miniature book, 6 x 9 cm, 125 pp plus adverts. Soft suede leather cover with gilt spine title. The cover is worn and fragile with spine chips, edge tears, stains and corner wear with fragments missing as can be seen in the images. The front and rear hinges are cracking but holding. Apart from natural age toning of the paper and corner wear, the text block is quite good. 

This book is offered, therefore, "with all faults" at a low price. However, it is relatively scarce and comes from the early history of Australian literature. It could be attractive therefore to a collector who may find it fills a niche in a collection until a finer copy should perhaps one day come along or if they choose to restore this copy.
