Announcements!!

Mid Year Sale Event!!  Twice a year I list all my original items out at my lowest opening bid.  This is that week!  If you are interested in anything I have, you will not get from me at a lower price.  This is a great time to pick up a few items no question about it.

1.  I do combine shipping unless otherwise noted.  I do whatever I can to offset the USPS crazy shipping rates...

2.  Follow me at my new Facebook page at SemperFi Jeep Restorations.  I post often on upcoming auctions and early preview pics of auction items.

3.  If you are looking for a complete frame, donor tub panels or motors, let me know.  I'm going to finally market out some larger items I normally don't sell.  Send me a message for what you might be needing.

Hello to all and thanks for checking out my auctions this week.  It's my responsibility to provide you with the most information possible about the items I'm listing.  It is your responsibility to make sure this item is the one you need for your project or restoration.  So please do your research and make sure it's what you need.  We all know that Bubba had a knack for mix-matching old jeep parts so all items are sold as is and non returnable.  If you're looking for a specific item or part, please let me know and I'll see what I have on the shelf or out in the jeep bone yard.  I'll do my best to get it listed next time around.

You are looking at an original Pyrene Heavy Vehicle Fire Extinguisher Assembly that I pulled off a 1943 GPW.  There are a few different brands of WWII jeep fire extinguishers and this is one of them.  It's the heavy duty type so no doubt its war time correct.  I haven't offered up one of these in probably 18 plus years now so figured it was about time to get one cleaned up and see how it goes.  When it comes to originals it won't get much better than this.  Considering what you normally pull off a rig, I'd have no problems tossing this on a show rig.  The extinguisher is solid top to bottom and yes it works as it should.  Most of the time the extinguisher has damage or the brass has some kind of severe condition issues.  Not this one.  Really is clean from top to bottom.  The label is legible and for an 80 plus year old assembly you can't ask for much more.  Also decided to leave the mounting bracket with the extinguisher and sell it as a complete unit.  Bracket is also super clean with no issues to highlight out.  Again this is a complete assembly and things the pics pretty much say it all...  Make note this is the only show quality Pyrene assembly I have to offer up.  Matter of fact I pulled this out of my own private show stash...  If you have been following my auctions over the past 24 years you already know I don't normally sell these kinds of items since I use them eventually myself.  So we'll see how it goes this week...  I know this is an expensive assembly.  I totally get it..  But so is the rig you are restoring.  The price of WWII jeeps has gone through the roof in the past couple of years so no question this will add overall value to your investment. That being said  I do have it priced accordingly.  It's a clean original assembly and the overall quality is hard to beat.  It's a turn key assembly just waiting for you to spray on a final coat of paint...  So if it doesn't make my opening bid, no problems...  I will simply hold onto and offer it up again another time.  Either way works for me.  Item was cleaned, and did a first round of polishing.  New owner can dial it if so desired.  Winning bidder should be pleased with the purchase and really can't add anything the photos don't already say.  These little attention to detail items are what sets your restoration above others...  Plus if you are putting together a catalog of your restoration it's nice having these rare original items documented and photographed for future reference.

Compared to all the other Pyrene's listing out right now this is by far the cleanest available...

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK ME BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID.   Domestic shipping is estimated out at $16.00 and since I do not know where this will end up, if there is a large difference on the S/H, I will simply issue the winning bidder some type of refund via paypal.   Overseas buyers can expect to pay more for obvious reasons and please note I will not change final customs amount.  Your final bid is the declared value so please do not ask me to lower the customs declared value.  It is what it is and I just won't do it.  Also note I do not make a profit on S/H but do make enough to cover the cost of packing things correctly and the simple fact I have to drive a long way into town to mail this stuff out.  So I gladly combine items as long as they fit in the same box.  Anything I can do to help on costs I do.  I only accept paypal or other forms of online payments.  It's quick it's painless and the only way I do business.  Payment must be received within 5 days from the close of auction and items will ship within 3 days of that.  No exceptions and no excuses.  If your not serious about the item, please do not waste our time.  I've been buying and selling on Ebay since 1999 and my feedback is PERFECT so bid with confidence.  Thanks for looking, good luck and Semper Fi to my fellow Marines!
