My watch collection and projects are getting out of hand so unfortunately, I have to part with a few.

This listing is for a rare true collectable, Vintage Elgin "Golf Ball" Jump Hour watch, recently serviced, another one of my favorite pieces in my collection. At the time of manufacturing, in the 50's, Its design was considered futuristic and also elegantly artistic.
This watch features:
Model: Direct Read / Jump Hour, Golf Ball, 17 jewels Cal. 717
Year: 1955
Material:10k gold filled and stainless steel.
Movement: Manual
Diameter: 30mm

The case is 30mm in diameter with 16mm lug width, in very nice condition with minimal scuffs and scratches but no visible major wear. The crystal, numerical rotating dial, both Hour and minute wheels, are in great condition (please look at the pictures and judge for yourself). It is a manual winding 717 cal. movement and has been recently serviced. It runs nicely and keeps good time for its age (Please note Vintage Automatic & manual watches keep good time, but unlike a quartz watch, it can gain or lose a few seconds to a couple of minutes per day). It indicates "Waterproof", but like all vintage watches, it's not recommended. The genuine leather band is unique, dark ginger in color, it has an unusual bronze and gold metallic flakes that complement the watch beautifully.

Please look at the pictures carefully since they are part of the description. Returns are not accepted unless not as described, so ask all and every Question before bidding so you can get what you are looking for and take a look at my other ones for sale also, you might find something else you like as well! Thank you.
