We are privatesellers and make little or no profit from selling on eBay. We are aiming tomostly sell items in order to de-clutter and clear out things we no longer havean interest in. Therefore we cannot sustain the overheads of other sellers andwe are not a business.

Soplease check our comments and terms below and be aware of them if you arebidding. If they are not to your liking then thank you for looking and weunderstand why you would not bid. We will not haggle over any of the conditionsbelow, so we would rather you didn’t bid at all.

So,when we post an item it will be posted Royal Mail Signed For, either First orSecond Class. There will be no exceptions to this for small items so pleasefactor this into the overall cost. For larger items we will use a suitableparcel delivery service and this will also be tracked.

Toensure that we get the right postage we will not use the eBay postage system.This has caused problems regarding the price eBay estimates for postage and wewill not use it. Items will, instead, be taken to a post office and paid forover the counter. Tracking information will therefore not automatically appearon eBay but we will add it later if required. This is to ensure that thecorrect postage is paid in all cases, which unfortunately has not been outexperience of the automatic eBay system.

Wehave also had items returned opened, for example new and sealed records, DVDsor CDs. Such items are not suitable for us to re-list and we clearly lose moneygoing from a new item to something that has been open, played, etc. and thenreturned. We do not offer refunds in such cases and we will only accept itemsback if they are in the same condition in which we sold them. This also appliesto items which are returned with missing parts, such as a 2LP set which wasreturned with one record only (and a demand for a full refund).

Automaticre-listing ineBay often result in a change to the item, including the offer price and thepostage – we will try and avoid that and all postage will be Signed For. Wewill cancel any items where this does not appear to be the case. We do notaccept bids or offer for any items, so we will ignore these if we see them –they are usually something eBay changes when items are automatically relisted.

Wewill not post internationally without prior agreement, and we will not use theeBay international postage system as we have had problems with it in the past.For example, in posting two items to two different countries, we post these toan address in the UK and eBay apparently does the rest. In one case two itemswere mixed up and sent to the wrong addresses. We refunded all the costsassociated with this and lost both the items and a lot of money. Again, automaticre-listing usually changes this aspect of the item description against ourwishes. We will cancel any such bids, and notify you of this should youbid. Thank you for understanding this.
