My son loved this jacket bc it wasn't "puffy" at all but it was very warm and waterproof.  The Under Armour infrared Cold gear technology is legit.  Cool details like the inner waist optional snap which keeps air from flowing under the jacket and the built in optional wrist cuffs with thumb loops which keep air/snow from getting up sleeves and make tucking into ur gloves seamless.
