Option 1

Apply Nail foils Directly onto tacky Nail Varnish, this is a quick and easy way to apply, seal with a top coat.

Option 2

This will give you the best salon quality results, using Nail Glue especially made for Foils and a topcoat that prevents the foil wrinkling, this topcoat can either be gel, water-based polish or oil based polish.

Step 1 | Clean and buff your nails using a alcohol based nail cleaner.

Step 2 | Apply two coats of base colour, allow the first layer to dry fully then apply the second layer (a good colour choice is black, this will provide a great contrast for the holographic foils).

Step 3 | Once the nail gel / polish is completely dry apply a layer of nail foil glue, you’ll know it’s ready to apply your foil once the glue turns translucent.

Step 4 | Cut the foil into a rectangle shape that is a slightly bigger than your nail so there is excess around the edge, firmly press the foil on top of you nail, then carefully rub the foil ensuring the foil is firmly pressed down on all areas of the nail.

Step 5 | Pull away the backing sheet, if you have done a good job of pressing & rubbing the foil will now be on your nail.

Step 6 | Apply 2 topcoats to the nail allowing them to dry in between, for the ultimate finish use UV gels.
