This is a 1852 four volume set of Letters Written by the Late Right Honorable Philip Dormer Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield, to His Son, Philip Stanhope, by, as it says, Philip Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield. The books are in good condition with nicks and wear on the edges and corners of all four covers. The binding seems to be a contemporary to the time binding, but we do not know if it is the original binding or not. There is sporadic light spotting in the books, some with more than others, Seller Inventory # 000227
