Movies had been a part of Evlis Presley's life ever since he was a kid. He wanted to be an actor along the line of James Dean or Marlon Brando. Viewers could easily accept a Brando or Dean taking on any of Elvis' "troubled" roles in the likes of Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, or King Creole. Except for one missing element those actors could never duplicate. The singing. His biggest film hit, Blue Hawaii, provided him with the song that would close most of his concerts in the 1970s, "Can't Help Falling In Love." Girls! Girls! Girls! gave him the radio hit, "Return To Sender" and teh title track to Viva Las Vegas, the unofficial anthem for anyone traveling to Sin City. He Didn't need to be Brando or Dean. He was Elvis.
