An affordable copy of an early printing of the King James Bible. 


Bound in contemporary seventeenth century calf. Lacking A1 (general title) and 2U8 (Apocrypha, I Maccabees 5-6), binding worn, leaves closely trimmed in places with headlines, side-notes, catchwords and signature-marks frequently shaved, main text occasionally affected (e.g. quire 2Q, Apocrypha), intermittent damp-staining to foot, occasional chips and tears especially to rear of NT, a few leaves tipped in or otherwise repaired, closed transverse tear in 2U4 closed tear, chips to lower fore corners of 3I1 and 3I5 costing a few words.
