John Lindsey wrote this book after culminating a life time of perfecting his craft by catching a World Record Bass on a fly rod. He then poured years of work into this book so others would be able to quickly improve their own fly fishing skills. He also started a small company to sell his book, hand tied popping bugs and fly tying materials. 

Unfortunately, a few years after completing the book John passed away. His family is now liquidating the remaining inventory at heavy discounts. Proceeds will go to his widow for living expenses.
