For sale today is the rare and out-of-print (oop) DC Comics trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel Smallville: Season Eleven (Volume 8): Chaos by Bryan Q. Miller and Agustin Padilla, published in 2016.

  • Collects Smallville Season 11: Chaos (2014) #1-4.
Written by Bryan Q. Miller. Art by Agustin Padilla and Daniel HDR. Cover by Cat Staggs.

When Lex Luthor attempts to invest in Ted Kord's new experiments, the scientists working on the supercollider are skeptical. But Lois Lane is at the Antarctic compound to cover scientific achievement, not corporate espionage, so it's not until things go massively awry that her fiancé gets sucked into the action!

I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

This copy is in good overall condition, with a solid spine and great inside pages (photo#13 example). It does have a few signs of wear including a cover indent, although a majority of its flaws are lighter in severity and affecting the book's externals.

**Photo#3:
-Spine edge: 6 light indents, they show on the adjacent front cover as small/light indents.

**Photo#4:
-Upper spine corner: Very light scuffing.

**Photo#5:
-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing/indenting around it.

**Photo#6:
-Front cover top edge: ~1" scuffing nearby spine corner, small scuff/indent near outer corner, otherwise light levels of shelf-scuffing/wear.
-Outer corner: Small indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/2 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#7:
-Front cover bottom edge: 4 small scuffs/indents around its middle, one attaches to adjacent ~2" indent (photo#10 w/illumination).
-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~12 pages as a light indent/bend.

**Photo#8:
-Back cover top edge: 2 small scuffs near spine corner, ~1" nearby/parallel indent near edge's middle.
-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#9:
-Back cover bottom edge: Two ~1/2" indent/scuffs towards spine corner (photo#11 w/illumination), otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing.
-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~15 pages as a light bend.

**Additionally: Front cover has some light scratches around it. Back cover has four ~3/4" scratches/indents spread around it. ~1"x~1" of sticker residue on the barcode (photo#12 w/illumination) - might come off; I prefer not to mess with them. Book has a light bottom outer quadrant flex/bend.

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
