This is a lovely personal collection of 38 volumes that were once the property of Avis Mathews Morrison....each book loving inscribed to her as a gift from her Mama, or other relatives with the year given. She must have dearly loved these as her family helped her acquire them as gifts as noted on the inscriptions.

I listed the last print date from the publisher printed in the titles below. These books are very old with the oldest print at 129 years. With that in mind, they are not being sold as "new" or even "new condition". They are in good to great condition for their age and usage. The only one with major damage is MacBeth which is intact but the cover is separated and kept with the book - see pics.

Avis must have studied literature as some of the books contain some the notes she made in pencil or some magazine images that are cut out of other media and placed in these books. I've tried to make notes below on what I've seen.
