A very handsome two volume set, 1887, of John Milton's Paradise Lost and Poetical Works.

Bound in green leather with gilt titles. Five raised bands to spines, and beautiful marbled endpapers. Gilt to top edges of text-blocks.

Both books are in very good condition, commensurate with age. Clean throughout: no foxing, grubby fingerprints, or anything of that ilk. No torn or creased pages. Boards, spine, and text-block, all solid, tight, and square.
