Alan Watts (1915-1973) was a British poet and philosopher, best known for popularizing Eastern religion, philosophy and poetry for a Western audience, most notably the counter-culture youth in the Bay Area and New York in the 1950s and 60s. This essay was first published in 1947 under the title "Zen Buddhism, A New Outline and Introduction".

___CONDITION: A fine copy overall, the paper boards clean and without wear, the corners straight and without rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; light offsetting to the endpapers, else fine.
