Set is in overall good condition with 9 volumes rated as very good and 2 volumes rated acceptable due to writing in some chapters. All spines and covers are solid and tight with no spine breaks. Varying degrees of handling wear to the covers and dust jackets; no notable scratches or marks found. In the two volumes rated as “acceptable”, Volumes 20 and 21, the prior owner made margin notes and used underlining on some pages - examples shown in photos and details in full description; there could be margin notes in other volumes but none were found.
