The Coming of The White Women, 1836 - As Told in Letters And Journal of Narcissa Prentiss Whitman
Compiled by T.C. Elliott

Published in 1937 for the Oregon Historical Society, Portland, Oregon.

Collectible historical book of fascinating detailed insightful perspective by Narcissa Whitman, of missionaries Dr and Mrs. Whitman's and others' early 1800's travel over 2000 miles on the Oregon Trail, a cross country journey from the Rockies to what's now Washington.
Narcissa and another wife were said to be the first white women to travel overland into this region.
There are multiple conflicting issues amongst the factions, and a fateful ending for many of those involved, but that is another story.
