This assembly allows a professional 12V always-on power for your dashcam that connects between the Tesla Model S intrusion module connector and the optional intrusion module. Full instructions are available at our TeslaTap site, and we'll also include the link with your purchase.

We make these here in the USA, using automotive grade parts, designed to withstand wide temperature ranges typically encountered in vehicles.  Designed for both two and three wire dashcams.

No tools are required to install the assembly.

Availability

Not all Model S cars have the intrusion connector for always-on power. You should confirm you have the connector before purchasing the kit.  Not suitable for the mid-2021 Model S or later that no longer has the connectors in the headliner.

All Model S cars made after September 16, 2015 and before January 2021, will have the always-on power connector, and most cars from 2012 through late 2013 also include always-on power as do all European cars.  Non-European cars made in 2014 and 2015 may not have the connector, or it may be tapped up with the large wire bundle in the headliner and hard to extract.

The second photo shows the taped connector on the microphone panel in a vehicle without the intrusion module.
